On Sunday the 29th June 2025, runners from across South Wales can take part in the Keeper of the Colliery 5k and 10k Run. The run was first organised as part of the Gลตyl Maesteg Festival 2018 and returned in 2022 after the pandemic.

The race starts at Maesteg Comprehensive school and takes in the great view of the Llynfi Valley. The runners also get to run past the great keeper of the colliery.
This year we have the return of the popular FAMILY FUN DAY so lots to keep you in the park until 4pm
